Giovanni has a BFA from Winthrop Universtity where he studied painting and sculpture. After earning his degree, he taught in public schools for a couple of years but found that he really wanted to work on creative projects with other creative people.
Climber
After college, Giovanni resolved to cure himself of a fear of heights that had plagued him all his life. After some deliberation, he joined a local gym where many rock climbers train. They showed him the ropes (literally) and pushed and prodded him up 40 feet of climbing wall. Over many months he learned to trust himself and has never looked back. He now climbs whenever he can and even worked as a tree climber for a couple of years.
